After closing Season 1, we knew our users would be wondering how long it would take for Season MEW (season 2). After a whole day it’s finally here 😹

What's New in sMEW?

100 Million Points Weekly We've scaled up weekly points distribution caps.

sMEW distributes 100 million points each week across qualifying participants on HypurrFi. This massive increase means more room for everyone. It’s a way to allocate smaller amounts to smaller users without hitting a cutoff, while still keeping a linear system to prevent sybil attacks. To ensure a smooth transition, we've multiplied all Season 1 points by 100x, so your past participation maintains its relative value.

New Points Infrastructure: Fuul powers our calculation and distribution engine

We've partnered with Fuul to ensure more consistent distributions, thorough weekly audits, and detailed analytics for every user. This upgrade means we'll have better visibility into individual points earners and weekly distribution audits.

Card Points

For HypurrFi Card users, we're displaying bonus card points under from your total, so you can clearly see how using the Swype.fun card contributes to your overall points. There are 5,000,000 bonus points per week split pro rata for Card users proportionally to every dollar you spend.

This isn’t live yet, but it has tracked since Card release. Expect those Card Points to airdrop in a coming weekly update.

Ranks & Badges

sMEW introduces five distinct levels to showcase your standing in the HypurrFi community:

Top Cat (Ranks 1-10): The elite of the elite
Purrfect (Ranks 11-100): Outstanding performers
Meowsome (Ranks 101-500): Rising stars
Good Kitty (Ranks 501-1000): Solid contributors
Pick of the Litter (Ranks 1000+): Welcome to the pack

We’ll add more levels for lower ranks in the near future. Everyone will have a chance to grow your position!

Boosts & Bonuses

Introducing the Hot Streak Rolling Points Boost

Your consistency pays off with the new Rolling Points Boost system. Based on your activity over the most recent previous 10 weeks, you can earn up to a 10% boost on your weekly points:

Active all 10 weeks → 10% boost
Miss 1 week → 9% boost
Miss 3 weeks → 7% boost
Miss 5 weeks → 5% boost

The Hot Streak Bonus rewards dedicated users while keeping things flexible. Life happens, missing a week won't devastate your bonus, but staying consistent maximizes your rewards. The boost applies immediately as we transition from Season 1 to sMEW, so your recent activity already counts (the Founder airdrop counts as a week too!).

Referral Bonus Buddy Codes (added to Front End soon)

Add a Buddy Code from a friend for a 5% bonus to weekly points. If a buddy adds your Buddy Code, get 5% of their weekly points added. You can only choose one buddy to add, but any number can add you.

Buddy Referrals and Bonuses from Season 1 have been transferred to the new points provider, so no need to refresh your buddies. Alright buddy!

Welcome to sMEW

sMEW has no announced end date, and no announced total points supply. These loyalty points for our users are a way to track your progress and use of the platform for finance.

HypurrFi is laser focused on creating Hyperliquid Lending Rails for traders, funds, institutions, and all manner of new entities that need access to the vastly efficient yields and flow of funds on Hyperliquid.
